Steve Brady is our exceptional trainer who comes over to NZ twice a year. All our horses, riders and wranglers are trained the same way to prevent miscommunication onset and we are deeply indebt to him to teaching us a logical simple way of taking control of our horses in any situation. We could not do what we do without his insight and exercises. For the biggest wedding New Zealand has ever seen, the groom required the use of 11 horses. 4 in a hand-made golden chariot, 5 for the groomsmen, one for the father of the groom and one for himself. All in 2 locations for a live to TV parade. We also had over 40 wranglers, grooms and helpers.
Each horse had to be specifically chosen for the task at hand. They had to be calm under immense pressure, a certain height, colour and temperament. Each horse and wrangler were educated for 3 months prior insuring each had the skills and knowledge of what was required.
