 The Team 

Anna and David Low are the driving force behind ALHP. They have over 20 years experience in the theatre, live displays, medieval re-enactments, film and TV, music videos, print media, corporate events, and weddings.  2000 saw them turn their passion for horses, the outdoors, and performing into a full time occupation, and a huge lifestyle change moving onto a large block of land in the heart of the film making area of Waitakere.

 

 
Eve Ainscow
Eve Ainscow - Athena's riding double on Xena:Warrior Princess. Working fulltime with Anna Low as Head Wrangler, Safety Supervisor, Sidesaddle and Display rider for over 8 years. Married mother of a young son Hunter. Owner, breeder, and rider of fine Warhorses.
Crystal Vickers
Crystal Vickers is an oustanding display & stunt rider with a passion for horses and stunt work. She is in training to be a stuntie with the NZ Stunt Guild and awaiting her Stunt Rider exam.  She has a lovely wild filly she has tamed herself and is an asset to any production. Experienced onset and in Live Displays, and Side-saddle.
Darren Corowa
Darren is our resident weapons specalist and fight choreographer. Many years experience with martial arts. Exceptional animal trainer and sculptor.
Parasurama Te Hiko
25 years experience with martial arts. Martial arts degree (Black Sash) Praying Mantis, Tiger clan. Extensive weapons training and an enthusiastic member of the Team.  A recent addition to the team and competent Display Rider.  In training for battle on our Warhorses.
Cathy Voullaire
Cathy Voullaire, Wrangler, Display Rider, Media Liason, Construction Consultant, Photographer of most of the photos of this site, and we are deeply grateful to her for her artistic insight and persistance in obtaining the best shot.
Matt Fawkner
One of our most enthusiastic Stunt & Display Riders. Matt has been with the team for 3 years now and has graduated to our main male rider. He is experienced in parades, medieval re-enactments, and photo shoots. Here he is in the 2007 Santa Parade in downtown Auckland.
Vanessa Veart-Smith
Vanessa is our resident dressage expert with extensive experience in Display. She has trained her horse Merlin to a level most of us only dream about. Experienced in Live Display riding, Side saddle and wrangling.
Tania Darlison
Tania is our Team Osteopath having helped us so many times over the years its hard to count. Completely helpful and professional about helping keep the teams backs working well so we can work well. Her herd of magnificent Warhorses has just increased by one with the breeding of a spectacular colt Cola.  Seen here riding Max a veteran who first started at WOW and trained by Eve Ainscow and Anna Low.
